Brand-specificpreparation
A GT-R, a Ferrari and a BMW M are not prepared the same way. Our Signes workshop tailors its work to the make, the model and the real-world use of your sports car.

Let's discuss the preparation suited to your sports car
A preparationdesigned by make
Each manufacturer has its own mechanical and electronic logic. We start from the make, the model and how the car is used to build a coherent preparation.
- Principle
Mechanics per make
Each manufacturer has its own choices of engine architecture, transmission and electronic management. We start from these specifics rather than applying a single recipe.
- Principle
Dedicated electronic tuning
Our engine and gearbox mapping is bespoke, never generic. An engine engineer tunes each control unit according to the model in front of him.
- Principle
Built for your use
Road, track or both: the preparation adapts to the way you actually use your sports car, while respecting its original mechanics.

A workshop700 m from the track
Based in Signes, 700 metres from the Paul Ricard circuit, we prepare and support sports cars as close to the track as possible, at Le Castelet and on the road.

PartnerBMW M France
Bernis Factory is an official BMW M France partner for track support and recommended by ORECA. A recognition that guides our standards on every make.
Multi-brand expertise rooted in Signes
Bernis Factory prepares high-end sports cars from many makes: Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG, Nissan GT-R, Porsche and BMW. For each one, the goal stays the same: reveal the car's potential without altering its original character.
This brand-specific approach draws on our three trades: the maintenance, preparation and restoration of sports cars. It is this continuity that lets us truly understand each model's mechanics before we act.
Whether your car is meant for the road, the track or both, we build a preparation case by case, from our Signes workshop, just minutes from the Paul Ricard circuit.
The workshop's most developed brand-specific preparation concerns BMW M, but every project relies on our bespoke chassis setup to tune your sports car's engine precisely.
Track sessions take place a few minutes from the workshop, at the Paul Ricard circuit.

Frequently asked questions about brand-specific tuning
- What is brand-specific tuning?
- It is preparation tailored to the architecture and electronics specific to each manufacturer. Rather than a generic setting, we work specifically according to the brand of your sports car, whether it is a BMW M, a Ferrari, a Mercedes AMG or a Nissan GT-R.
- Which brands do you prepare in Signes?
- We prepare high-end sports cars, with dedicated pages for BMW M, Ferrari, Mercedes AMG and Nissan GT-R. For another brand, such as Porsche, tell us about your project and we will work out the most suitable preparation together.
- Is the mapping different depending on the brand?
- Yes. Our engine engineer maps the engine and gearbox case by case, taking the vehicle and its use into account. We never apply the same generic map from one brand to another.
- Do you give a price for brand-specific tuning?
- No. Every preparation is bespoke and depends on the brand, the model and the intended use. For an estimate suited to your car, the simplest step is to contact us directly.
- Do you prepare cars for the Paul Ricard circuit?
- Yes. Our workshop is 700 metres from the circuit at Le Castelet. We prepare and support sports cars before, during and after a track day, and we are an official BMW M France partner for track support.
Why choose brand-specific tuning
Looking for brand-specific tuning means recognising that a BMW M is not set up like a Ferrari, a Mercedes AMG or a Nissan GT-R. Each manufacturer has its own engine architecture, electronic management and mechanical constraints. A generic approach ignores these differences, whereas brand-specific work unlocks the car's potential without distorting its character.
At Bernis Factory, this logic translates into engine and gearbox mapping set individually, by an engine engineer who always starts from the car in front of him. The preparation draws on our full range of services, from engine to braking, and on our closeness to the Paul Ricard circuit, where we support owners every day. It is this combination of brand specialisation and track experience that guides each of our interventions.
